Corda Technologies Releases Free Desktop Version of Corda Builder, A World-Class Charting and Graphing Design Product

The Award-Winning Corda Builder is now available at no charge to create charts, graphs, maps and PDF's

New York, NY-May 24, 2004-Corda Technologies Inc., the leading provider of innovative data presentation solutions, announced today it is providing the award-winning Corda Builder at no cost for users to create electronic charts, graphs, maps and PDF documents. Freeware Corda Builder can be downloaded from www.corda.com or several Websites that offer free downloads.

Freeware Corda Builder creates the graphs and maps from static information such as data contained in a company spreadsheet. This allows users to better visualize their data and make more informed decisions. Corda Builder is also capable of translating static HTML pages into printable PDF documents. A watermark will be automatically generated on each graph, map or PDF, which reads, "Created with Corda Builder", however no advertisements will appear. As long as the watermarks and links are not removed, graphs, maps and PDF's created with Freeware Corda Builder may be liberally used on any commercial Website.

Freeware Corda Builder is for use in applications where static information is available or required. In order to use database-driven graphs and maps, one of Corda's commercial server products is required. Corda Server is powerful software that connects the graph and map templates created by Corda Builder to databases and then generates dynamic graphs and maps. Using Corda Builder alone, if the underlying data changes, users must manually update the graph or map; however, with Corda Server, the graph or map is updated instantly. Corda Server also includes Highwire, which dynamically creates PDF reports from HTML pages.

The freeware version of Corda Builder does not include access to Corda's technical support personnel, but information on how to use Corda Builder is provided in the Corda Builder User Guide that comes with the electronic documentation accompanying the downloaded product.

Corda Technologies offers a commercial version of Corda Builder, which includes technical support and will remove the "Created with Corda Builder" watermark from the graphs, maps, and PDF documents. For more information, please visit www.corda.com/products/builder.
