John Purvis Joins The Board Of Directors At CORDA Technologies

Lindon, Utah-February 22, 2005-CORDA Technologies, Inc. the leading provider of innovative data presentation solutions, today announced that John Purvis has joined its board of directors. Purvis has over 25 years experience in the high tech field working with both hardware and software manufacturers in R&D, sales and marketing, services, general management, and mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to sitting on Corda's board of directors, Purvis is Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Encover, the leading provider of technology and services that help manufacturers maximize services revenue. Purvis recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Oracle, growing its services business into a $3 billion business spanning ninety-three countries. John has had extensive international experience with multinational general management responsibilities for major corporations, including SGI and Unisys. He began his career in software development, building his own successful software company, and has remained deeply involved in technology throughout his career. He has taught mathematics and computer science at the undergraduate and graduate school level and served as a program evaluator for the Computer Sciences Accreditation Board.
