I recently visited with Ron Powell, Editorial Director of the B-Eye Network. We had a good discussion on some interesting intersections between the performance dashboard which we studied in our recent CRC selection and the service-profit chain which we've talked about in a variety of contexts - where the idea is that the journey to profits starts with an absorbing focus on the employee. The overarching theme which emerged during our conversation is the transforming power of the business performance management (BPM) discipline. I hope you may find the following pod-worthy.

Corda Employee in the News

Kenric B. White, an expert Dashboard Technologist at Corda Technologies presented a graphics research paper at the Symposium on Interactive Ray Tracing 2007 on September 12, 2007. The paper, titled "Poisson Disk Point Sets by Hierarchical Dart Throwing" was co-authored by Mr. White, David Cline of Brigham Young University and Arizona State University and Parris Egbert of Brigham Young University. The paper presents a novel way to create Poisson disk point sets. We are very proud of Kenric's accomplishments. http://www.corda.com/press-release-graphics-research-paper.php

TECHNICAL TIPS

When upgrading your CenterView server here are a couple of important things to remember:

1. If you are running a production Tomcat then don't forget to delete the Corda directory in the Tomcat/webapps directory and then copy over the newly created Corda directory.
2. Make sure you delete the Corda folder (and ctadmin folder if applicable) from your Tomcat/work/catalina/localhost directory. These are cache files and will be recreated when Tomcat is started back up.
