Corda Visual Evolution Conference 2007 Highlights

Visual Evolution 2007 wrapped up in Salt Lake City on October 25, 2007. Attendees enjoyed three days of informative sessions and networking activities.

Highlights of the conference were:

  • Industry expert and author, Stephen Few gave a keynote session on Fulfilling the Promise of Business Intelligence. Attendees commented that this session alone was worth the cost of coming to Visual Evolution.
  • Corda’s Founder and Chief Scientist, Neal Williams, gave a keynote presentation on Dashboards for Real World. He outlined nine steps to choosing KPIs that allows companies to quickly get to which KPIs are most important.
  • Mr. Williams then led a round-table discussion that allowed participants to hear best practices, not only from Corda, but from other CenterView users as well.
  • Attendees got a glimpse into the future of business performance management and business intelligence during a panel discussion with John Purvis, Corda CEO and Ron Powell, Editorial Director of the B-Eye Network.
  • A new feature this year, the Data Visualization Lounge, gave attendees the chance to work on their dashboard deployments with Corda’s expert Dashboard TechnologistsSM.
  • Corda’s expert Dashboard TechnologistsSM led various sessions that gave attendees the tools and best practices needed to make the most of CenterView.
