To install Corda® CenterView™, do the following:
Launch the Corda CenterView installer to initiate the installation routine.
The installer is named CordaCenterView2. It provides a wizard to guide you through the installation process, which includes configuring the Java* runtime environment.
Note: If you need to run the installation from a command line, you can do so by launching CordaCenterView2 -console. This launches a text-based installation wizard rather than the default graphical version. Although available for both Linux*/UNIX* and Windows*, the console installation option is not recommended for Windows environments.
When prompted, specify a destination location for Corda CenterView source files.
This location becomes <product_root>, into which the Corda CenterView directory structure is installed.
When prompted, select the type of installation you want to perform. There are three options:
Developer Install: Installs the complete Corda CenterView suite for designing, creating, and managing dashboards, which includes CenterView Builder, CenterView Server, and CenterView Administrator.
Production Install: Installs only the CenterView Server Web application. The Web application is designed and ready to integrate into your existing Web server or Web application server environment.
Administrator Install: Installs only CenterView Administrator, which is used for configuring and managing one or more instances of CenterView Server.
After the installation completes, you are ready to start using the Corda CenterView components you have installed.
For more information on these components, see CenterView Builder, CenterView Server and CenterView Administrator.
