Before you begin, you should download the Corda® 7 installer from http://www.corda.com.
The install process is a straight-forward, menu-driven installation routine. How you start the Corda 7 installer depends on the operating system on which you are installing Corda 7:
To install Corda 7 on Windows, locate the Corda 7 installer file you downloaded and execute it. The default file name is Corda7.exe.
Follow the on-screen menus to install Corda 7.
To install Corda 7 on OS/X, locate the Corda 7 file you downloaded and double-click it to extract the Corda 7 installer. The default file name is Corda70.zip.
Launch Corda70, and follow the on-screen menus to install Corda 7.
UNIX/Linux support two installation options: graphical installer or "headless" (text-mode) installer. The process flow for both methods is the same.
Important: On Linux and Solaris, a Java* VM is included with the Corda 7 installer. For all other platforms you must have a Java VM, version 1.4.2 or higher, installed and included in the system path to run the installer.
To install Corda 7 on UNIX/Linux, open a command-line session and change to the location of the Corda 7 file you downloaded. The default file name is Corda70.bin.
For a graphical install, type sh Corda70.bin -i GUI. For a headless, text-only install, type sh Corda70.bin. Follow the on-screen menus to install Corda 7.
