The easiest way to configure Corda Server™ is through Corda Server Administrator, a secure, Web-based administration system that starts up with the Corda Server (it is not technically part of the Corda Server, since it runs as a separate process and uses separate ports).
Note: If you are unable to start Corda Server Administrator, you may need to change the ports that it uses (2003 and 2004). Instructions for changing these ports are located in Changing Server and Administration Port Settings.
To log in to the Corda Server Administrator, follow these steps.
To log in to Corda Server Administrator
Start the Corda Server.
If you do not know how to do this, see Starting Corda Server.
If you are accessing Corda Server Administrator from the machine running the Corda Server, click the Corda Server Administrator shortcut.
After two seconds, you are redirected to Corda Server Administrator.
If you are accessing Corda Server Administrator remotely or if you do not have a shortcut, go to the following URL: http://<server_address>:2004/casapp/administrator.
Replace <server_address> with the DNS name or IP address of the computer running Corda Server. If you have changed the Corda Server Administrator port (not the Corda Server port), replace 2004 with the port that you changed it to.
If a Cannot Find Server error appears, make sure the Corda Server has been started.
Enter the administrative password and click the Submit button.
When you first log in to Corda Server Administrator, this password is password. Change this password immediately to ensure security (see Setting the Password).
Important: If you ever forget the password, see Unknown or Forgotten Corda Server Administrator Password for instructions on how to recover it.
Clicking Submit opens a page similar to the following:
If you receive a Connection or Password Error instead, check to make sure the password is correct and try again.
