Stacked Bar graphs are used in the same manner as non-stacked bar graphs except that the Y values from previous data sets are accumulated as each new data set is plotted. The bars are stacked on the end of the previous bar with each separate value color-coded on the bar according to the data set it came from rather than being placed side-by-side.
Bar graphs can be used for:
- Comparing independent data sets
- Money distribution by time
- Production against time
